Living Proof, the technology-based hair care brand co-owned by actress Jennifer Aniston, who is also its spokesperson, has secured $30 million in financing that will be used to accelerate market expansion. The company also plans to develop and commercialize new beauty technologies.

“We are extremely well-positioned for the next phase of our rapid growth,” said Jill Beraud, CEO, Living Proof. The financing was supported by new institutional investors including Leerink Swann, and joined by existing investor and company founder Polaris Partners, as well as the Pohlad Family Capital Fund.

Living Proof recently launched its first national marketing campaign with Aniston, which was shot by Mario Sorrenti and created by Badger & Winters. The campaign began appearing in major fashion, beauty and lifestyle publications this week.

Living Proof co-founder and board chairman Jon Flint, who is also co-founder and general partner at Polaris Partners, stated, “In addition to accelerating market penetration, this major financing will give us the fuel we need to continue our original vision: bringing together some of the most brilliant scientists in medicine to create proprietary beauty products that truly work.”

The brand is sold at top salons nationwide, as well as at Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, and QVC. Internationally, Space NK in the United Kingdom and Mecca in Australia and New Zealand carry the brand.
